It was working perfectly yesterday by when I woke up this morning it wouldn’t work. When I go to listen to my ringtone I can hear it and when I call myself it goes off. When I switch the little side button to sounds on it shows me how high my volume is but then when I use the buttons to try and adjust it the little speaker thing pops up but there’s no little white bars underneath telling me I’m changing the volume. It also doesn’t work on games and videos.

I don’t plan to play games on the smartphone. I want ebay, facebook, yahoo mail, gmail primarily and texting.

You’re now reading the questioning thought of a noob who barely knows anything about computer hardwares.
I’ve got a rather old laptop, and I’m looking to replace it with a newer, better one (I know, a gaming laptop, yes, I do have my own reason for it). I can do simple comparisons for things like graphic cards and RAMs to see which is better, but the two CPUs are confusing me:
First this is the one I currently have: Intel® Core™ i3-370M Processor (3M cache, 2.40 GHz)
My would-be upgrade has this: Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM Mobile Processor (4x 2.20GHz/6MB L3 Cache)
Apparently both are quad-core, but from what I see, the i7 is far superior to the i3. But the i3 has a faster speed? Isn’t it the faster the better? If the i7’s speed is slower, what makes it a better CPU to run games? When I look at CPUs, what else should I be looking at, beside speed? What should be the most important when I’m looking for upgrades?

I want a cool smart phone what should i get?
Here are my thoughts:
Iphones:
-i dont like the evil apple cult thing
-i dont like being forced to upgrade my phone every year
-good amount of apps, but they seem to crash alote
-annoying same look of chasis,
-no variety except for black and white
-ive seen old grandmas use them
Android:
-love the eco system
-little buggy interface
-crashy app
-love the power and varietys
- does not have a evil cult like apple
-more free games than ipne /WP7
WP7:
I barrowed one for two weeks, and was plesently impressed
-not as many apps/ but are all higher quality never crashes
-same apps as android and iphone
No evil cult
-inovative interface
- fluid, fast, and very good looking metro UI
-good variety
-not buggy, never crashes
-true multi-tasking
-i love the bing search feature
-Xbox live
-will be able to use or connect with windows 8 when wp7 tango comes out

I am getting it from a return and I don’t know what to do with it. I Was thinking about getting a Coby Kyros or a iPhone or Destroy all humans ( Video Game) or Coca cola stuff (I’m a collector) or save it for when I go to California. What do you think? Any new ideas?
