Ipod Questions: How Do I Move Music From Ipod Nano To Itunes & How Do U Use Internet On Ipod Touch?

By admin Posted in: windows phone game

I have an 8th gen ipod nano and my boyfriend currently has an ipod classic. We both have music on our ipods that we no longer have cds to. No, the music was not bought on itunes, and my computer crashed a while back. It was bought on cds that we have since lost. We want to move the music from the ipods to itunes, and I know that I’ve seen someone do it before, but we don’t know how. Can anyone tell me how? (It’s windows vista operating system, by the way.)
Also, I have been considering buying my boyfriend an ipod touch so he can play games and get online (entertain) himself while riding in the truck for hours every day during his work. Is it possible to use the internet on an ipod touch when not around a wifi signal- like by using 3G? I would rather avoid buying an iphone, because that would add $30 to the phone bill every month, versus a one time payment for an ipod touch. And help is greatly appreciated!

[This method does not require third party software or an internet connection. This method will transfer ALL songs, photos and videos from iPod to computer; use Method #2 to transfer specific songs. Playlists will not transfer.]
    > Connect iPod to computer.
    > [Start]
    > [My Computer]
    > Double click [iPod drive]
    > [Tools]
    > [Folder Options]
    > [View]
    > Select [Show Hidden Files & Folders] and click [OK]
    > Right click [iPod Control] folder.
    > Select [Properties]
    > Un-select [Hidden] and click [OK]
    > Select [Apply Changes To This Folder, Subfolder And Files] and click [OK]
    > Open [iPod Control] folder.
    > Open [Music] folder.
    > You will notice folders labeled F00, F01, F02, F03, etc.
    > Place iTunes side by side w/ this window. Make sure that [Music Library] is displayed.
    > In iTunes select [Edit> Preferences> Advanced] and put a check next to:
    - [Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized] &
    - [Copy Files To iTunes Music Folder When Adding To Library]
    > Click [OK]
    > Drag and drop all of the [F] folders into the iTunes [Music Library]
    > Done.

Don’t know about the nano question.
But for the iPod Touch question, no, you can’t get 3G on it. You can on iPads or iPhones.
